Hoping to do the Dales Way next year. Any info on itinery would be appreciated & on accommodation especially for Ribblehead.
Thanks Joseph

Joseph,
There is a bunk house and campsite at the pub next to Ribblehead railway station. There might be rooms in the pub. The pub does meals. A chuck wagon parks near the viaduct most days.

Failing that you could catch a train to accomodation a few miles away returning early next morning.

Hi. Just finished the Dales Way and we stayed at the old YHA. It is up for sale, but we were lucky enough to get a room (pre booked). Peter lets the whole house out for family stays, but as he had no one in that night we were ok. (Dee Side House,01539 625251) Just a thought this may be of help. Otherwise it is a bit sparse around that area, although whilst walking we did notice a lot more B&B's that advertised. Cam houses also have accommodation.

Just another thought. If you can get your travel in and manage to walk to Addingham on the same day, Beck House Farm is a must. I have never slept in such a wonderful bed, and had such a georgeous breakfast. A damn good start to the walk. Cath and Dave are freindly and even picked us up from the pub in the village after we had eaten to take us back to their's for our night's rest before the 1st good day's walking. Also Little-Beck in Kettlewell. First class accommodation. Twaite Farm in Howgill, lovely, friendly farmhouse stay. We camped and B&B'd the way across, but we were very lucky and didn't have a wet day in the whole 2 weeks we were there, which I think is more than can be said for a lot of walkers up there this year.

The station inn at Ribblehead offers B&B (rooms) and bunkhouse accomodation. Excellent meals and good selection of beers.
