Four of us starting from St Bees on 14 May 2007. We will be in St Bees on the 13 - anybody else starting that date?

Hi Nimrod
you have got some time off at last, all the best for your walk in may, if you have it as good as we had in may a few years ago you are in for a treat, just do not drink to much guinness, although one can realy fly up those hills on it( or does it just appear so)
wish i was fit enough to enjoy the walk with you
regards
ern

In Bassenthwaite on 12th - 13th - so won't see you go by - but close enough to pause for thought and wish you well. - Great time of year for it - Lakes in May = my favourite!

- When do you go past/stop at the Lion, Blakey? - might be an excuse to pop-out and see a near neighbour.

I'll bet you're already counting the days off till you start.
have a great walk. If you wouldnt mind me tagging along on one of the days I could probably manage a day with you - post your itinery from Kirkby onwards through the Lakes (I,m Lancaster area based so Western half would be easier)

Mmm - So it could be a few shandies on the 24th May up at the Lion Inn, eh? I've marked it on my calendar - as I don't need much impetus to find an excuse for a meal, a couple of liveners and one or two OPs as a bedtime time sleeping draught, up on the Moors!

(Might be workig down South at the time tho' but will wait 'n' see)
