I know some people will have walked all of the CW in one go but some people like me, use it for day walks. I used the CW for a 5 mile walk at Sutton Bank in May 2004 and a bit of it on Urra Moor in July 2005 and this April,I walked from Scalby to Cloughton Wyke and back. I've walked all of the CW and, yes, it's a beautiful walk.

A bit too far away for me for day-walks tho'. I've started to use Anglesey for that.

Silver Nab/Steeple Cross to Square Corner regularly as part of a circular walk from Kepwick; Sutton Bank stretch when I reckon I'm there before the touri; Cold Moor - Wain Stones - Hasty Bank - Clay Bank Top - Round Hill as part of a circular walk from Chop Gate quite often; finally: the whole lot 2 years ago.

I don't live that far away either!

I walked the whole path in January this year. It's a fantastic walk and well worthy of it's good reputation. The Cleveland Hills area (where it converges with the C2C) is still one of the best days walking anywhere for my money!

That's a lovely bit. I generally leave the car in the car park at Kepwick and walk up to Osmotherley and back through Thimbleby, the forest and the Siltons. A good morning's walk.

I parked in Osmotherly. I had a long joourney to get there along the narrow, twisty and steep roads via Hawnby.
