Just had a word with author of
'' Cleveland way and missing link''
he has no objection to me posting a condensed version of the missing link on the web ,the route is about 50miles and he suggest's to take 3 days on it, if you would like it let me know

Hullo Ern.

Thanks for going to all the trouble. I would be interested to read about the "missing link". However, in reality this time the extra 3 days would cut into my schedule of doing the walk, seeing my extended family for my sister-in-laws 70th birthday party, and getting back home.

Completing the Cleveland Way Ring sounds like an interesting idea, making any starting point very convenient. I wonder if Sherpa would service the extra bit to complete the ring?

Hi Oldun,
it's no troouble at all, the route goes through Broxa forest and on to north of Hole of Horcum then Levisham, Lastingham,Hutton-le-hole and Helmsley
have done all the grid reference's.
condensed the book to just over a page
but you would want the map of the north york moors. either the 1- 50000 or two 1-25000 i have the west side one OUTDOOR LEISURE MAP 25 .as you might guess i have only put the bare essentials in,
i have to check one or two things before i put it on the net
the books been out of print for 11 years
i would hope with the interest shown Malcolm Boyes might try for a reprint
am enjoying myself trying to sort things out
regards
