On Sunday there I dropped the wife and her dad at Inversnaid hotel. This was after a fifteen mile drive along the road from Aberfoyle. It was not forecast as a good day but it began with the odd shower and nice sunny spells. After dropping them off I then drove via Aberfoyle, Drymen, Balloch and up Loch Lomonds west side to park at Inverarnan Hotel or the Drovers Inn as we call it. I set off to meet them walking up the loch side. It soon began to rain heavily and I eventually met up near the cut off for the Ardlui ferry. Although wet underfoot the trail was in good condition and as was wet it is muddy in places. There are quite a few out on the WHW at this time, but they have not been getting great weather. It does look like we are getting a good blast of April showers.
