Hello all,
My LDW plans have been badly thwarted by business commitments so far this year. So I am stuck with day walks thus far which is rather depressing
Anyway, had a few hours free today so I set out on the above walk which is only 20 mins drive from where I live in York. Fair does to the Wolds; if you want a fairly stiff stroll they can provide it.
GPS clocked 21.64 miles in 7 hours with 2300 of ascent.
Perfect walking weather bright but not too sunny, warmish with a light cooling breeze.
Lambs in the fields; larks in the sky
Had a good and fairly tiring day.
Now for a few ciders
Still rather envious of the PWers etc etc
But the British countryside is great
