Adam Perry started at Braithwaite this morning 5am Friday 13th June and has now reached Langdale just 1 minute behind schedule, going extremely well.
Watch his progress live. Scroll to the map or click on Adam Perry for his tracker.

Great. By the way he started today i.e. Saturday 13th - Friday 13th wouldn't have been a good omen!

Do you know if he is allowed pacers/co-runners or whatever the correct term would be, providing of course that they could keep up with him!

It looks as though he has had to abandon as his tracker is showing him going back down to Wasdale rather than on towards Red Pike.

Yeah, he had to retire in Wasdale due to knee problems, valiant effort all the same.

He tired me out just watching what he was achieving. As you say a valiant effort. Even to contemplate doing it in a week would be more than most of us could aspire to. With, of course, some very notable exceptions on this site!

Latest is in his own words that he struggled early on in the surprisingly warm temperatures and high humidity and although pushing hard never found his rhythm. Then cramp and solid quad muscles got the better of him and being 16 minutes down on schedule that he knew he couldn't make up, so on peak number 51 he stopped.
Dave.

Hopefully he'll be back for another attempt - a young man's game!
