Whilst walking a section of the Ribble Way between Preston and Ribchester, on the return to Preston I met a guy doing the Lejog and had a good chat. really nice fella living the dream.

Looks like his last day tomorrow, lovely photos. Took time out to enjoy the walk and visit places rather than push on at all costs. Congratulations to him and all those who supported him along the way.

Fortunately his wife was able to join him for several section along the way, along with other friends. That must make it easier all round than simply disappearing from home for several months. A real gent is Jamie, it was obvious in the few minutes that I was in his company. He probably won't see these posts, but congratulations to him, all the same.
