yes I have not posted much , but it is nice to read some of the reports,Happy and Healthy New Year to All.

We feel for all those who have suffered floods.
we had only one way into the village road closed at south end for(Canal and beck) floods and road closed at north end for floods(River Derwent)We have a lane from the village going east so we were not cut off.

A very, very late Xmas greeting from me too and perhaps more relevant; thanks too for keeping the Forum going. It would be a great shame to lose it. I for one will make a point of posting on here more often
