Really looking forward to this stroll thru what some call the Quintessential England walk. Anyone else planning CW this summer?

Did the northern part (Winchcombe to Chipping Campden) in 2004 and loved it. We hope to do most of it (with some detours and variations to see more of the Cotswolds) in 2018 as part of a longer walk.

Dave (or anyone else) I'd be interested in which guidebook you have or recommend as I'll probably purchase one soon.

Thanks, Ken

Ken, just received my copy of Trailblazer Cotswold Way by Tricia & Bob Hayne. It's the 3rd edition, just out and updated. Looks very thorough.

Hi Scott,

Sorry for the long-delayed reply to your earlier post. Thanks for the tip on the Trailblazer guide. I just picked it up and it seems quite thorough. I do selfishly wish they had oriented the guide from south to north, but at least with the Trailblazer guides one can read the maps either way, so to speak.

I always appreciate the Trailblazer guides for all the "extra" information regarding B&Bs, etc. And even though this info can go out of date, it is nice to get some direct accommodation recommendations to shorten and supplement my usual web searches.

Thanks again,

Ken
