Well I'll try typing straight on here rather than cut and paste. The Camino Frances was really enjoyable, totally different to my "normal" long distance walks in the UK. Walking with others in sight for the majority of the 500 miles is not something that I would plan for but on this occasion I found it added to my enjoyment, stopping after a couple of hours for a tortilla and a fresh orange juice rather than my normal head down until I stop at the end. The route is so well signed that you wouldn't need any maps etc except to find your accommodation. Whilst I am not religious I am sure that those with a faith would find it even more worthwhile.
