Hi Tom: I forgot to mention that there is some road walking (mainly country roads and tracks)in the Dingle Way. If you are a purist (no road walking) that may present a problem. However, if you are not a purist, when you finish the Dingle way, ride the bus from Tralee to Doolin (via Cliffs of Moher). It is about 4 hs. ride and it costs approximately 15 euros. Make sure it is the bus that connects through the ferry (faster and fabulous). In Doolin, go to the pier and take the ferry to the Aran Islands and walk the Aran Way (1 or 2 days). Unfortunately there are areas that are very touristy, but there are still areas nobody goes, especially if you take one of the early ferries: It is a mind blowing place, I have never seen anything like it. It is incredible! The pictures and postcards don't begin to show the beauty and strengeness of that place. And if you like irish music, Doolin is the place to be (a small village in the path of the Burren Way).
