My wife and I have planned a walk for the first two week of October. We have mostly relied on books for guidance on this planning, so I wanted to run our itinerary by some experts, in the hopes that if any glaring errors have been made, I could make the necessary adjustments before it's too late. Particularly, I'd very much appreciate any advice on specific route considerations between points. Or current itinerary is as follows--
Day 1--St. Bee’s Head to Ennerdale Bridge
Day 2--Ennerdale Bridge to Buttermere
Day 3--Day walks
Day 4--Buttermere to Rosthwaite
Day 5--Rosthwaite to Glendidding
Day 6--Glendidding to Grasmere
Day 7--Day walks

Many thanks to anyone willing to comment!

Best regards,
Clay

I am an expert but my only comment is work it out for yourself, surely this is part of the examination.

Dont listen to the amateur tourists opinion.

Be strong and stand in no mans shadow that's my advice to you.

Looks like a nice walk to me. Rosthwaite - Grasmere - Glenridding might be more logical than Rosthwaite - Glenridding - Grasmere.

Hello Clay.......if you are travelling all the way from Michigan then I think walking from St.Bees to Ennerdale, without the context of doing the C2C,is a waste of a precious day.
Get straight into Lakeland.Maybe add an additional day in Borrowdale.
