i do not think the majority of walkers have access to a helicopter.

Correct - but the wealthiest ones do.
Julia Bradbury must have one, otherwise all her programmes wouldn't include frequent views of her from above.

Yesterday I completed the Three Peaks Walk in 16 minutes.
Is this a record ?
( I often find Google Earth very useful )

Certainly less boggy - and with working in the rain several hours most days lately I thought I would stay dry for a while.
A pint mug of tea would never tempt me to do anything - but a decent pint of beer, that's a different matter.
