Hi, I would like to do the Coast to Coast walk this year for the first time and wondered if there are any groups out there looking for another member. I would be interested in camping or possibly B&B's along the route.

Hi,Iris,
If you are not successful in finding a group to join before the walk,I am sure if you are doing it at a popular time of the year, you will meet up with other people at St Bee's and in the spirit of most C2Cers,they will happily let you join them. If they are camping, like you wish to do,then there will be flexibility of where you stop. Good luck.

That's right. It not unheard of to start the Coast to Coast alone and be sharing a tent by the second night. Good luck.

When we did the C2C in September 2004, we met & walked with nice folks from St. Bees until our first rest day in Kirkby Stephens, then met & walked with a second group until our 2nd rest day in Richmond, and then met & walked with a third group until the finish. You'll have no problem meeting people to walk with.
