My new wife and I recently attempted to walk the PW north to south in 12 days followed by a Wedding Ceremony at Lose Hill House Hotel in the Edale Valley. See our account on www.neilandnaomispennineway.blogspot.com The reason for this post is to let any of the friendly people who we met on way know of the outcome of our efforts!!

Just read the blog - entertaining stuff!
If it's true that "the weather is incidental to the outcome of the expedition" then it may also be true that "finishing together" is not an essential outcome of every joint venture - if you get my drift!
Good luck to you and Mistress Coverley.

"finishing together" isn't the outcome of all marriages now that "till death us do part" means little to all those who see divorce as the easy answer to any difficulties a couple encounter through a life together - but of course we all wish Neil and Naomi well for the future.

finishing together does help, as long as you have got the stamina to keep it up.

Welcome back. The Spine Race starts in Edale on Saturday 9th January. It will be a busy Edale from Friday mid day until the last of 150 Spiners depart at 10am.

Same with me on Finnigan's links, can get to his home page but no further. They were put on some 6 years ago so perhaps they have been deleted.
