HI there, I'm planning to do the C2C in September this year as a lone woman walking. I really want to carry all my kit and do some wild camping. Anyone else going at this time? Can anyone think of anything I might need apart from the essentials obviously?
Thanks, Ruth

The below link might be of interest. It's a journal by a sole, female, backpacking, walker recording her C2C crossing.

At the risk of seeming facetious, I recommend you take only what is absolutely essential as you will have plenty to carry

Hi Ruth, After a re-think. I've decided not to do the double coast to coast bike ride, instead I'm decided to do the Cleveland Way sometime in September. It is the 40th birthday of the Cleveland Way this year, so it would be nice to do. I may see you on the walk, who knows.
