cheese and chutney, now there is an idea, cheese and chutney in the sun, fantastic walking snack too. the protein of the cheese and the carbs of the chutney set you up well.

let get back to walking subjects

A man was on a walking holiday in the lakes He became thirsty so decided to ask at a home for something to drink. The lady of the house invited him in and served him a bowl of soup. There was a wee feret running around the kitchen, running up to the visitor and giving him a great deal of attention. The visitor commented that he had never seen a this friendly. The housewife replied: "Ah, he's not that friendly. That's his bowl you're using."

last night I was walking down an alley, when I heard somebody shouting help Help! coming from behind a dusbin. Two thugs were trying to steal an old lady's handbag, but she was putting up a Hell of a fight and wouldn't let go. I wondered if I should get involved, or keep walking and pretend I didn't see anything
I finally decided that I should help. It didn't take the three of us very long to get her handbag though.

yeah, good idea m/arky, how about expanding our minds and coming up with a list of 'dream'walks to be done before we die. these should be global and not restricted to the UK. start it of my little friend.
