Was just wondering if anyone had ever had any issues wild camping on the Way? I have never done "wild camping" before and I am a little concerned about upsetting angry landowners, but it just seems the most practical way to walk the route, without sticking to a strict schedule... any hints and tips would be appreciated. Thanks

Wild campers are fairly common on the way. Just follow common sense rules and camp on uncultivated land away from habitations, farmland and obviously maintained areas and you should have no problems whatsoever.

Hello vffracer,
Just do as Slowcoach posted and you'll have no problem.
Camp towards end of day, leave early and leave no trace.
I 'wild' camped most of the way and was even able to camp close to towns in the wooded areas that surrounded them.
A discreetly coloured tent helps! wink
