Hi All

Just got back from a weekend at Keld Lodge. Had a great time there, food and beers were really good and they were very friendly and welcoming to our dog. I have never been to Swaledale before and have fallen in love with it after this visit! Checked out Reeth and Richmond and walked a few miles of the C2C from the lodge.
There was a bloke staying there who was doing the C2C, said he had hadn't met any fellow coasters - no surprise there! Think he had to take alternative lower level routes in the Lakes due to deep snow and ice on the Kidsty Pike etc.

The bakers shop in Reeth do lovely homemade fruit scones wink

Thanks, am staying there on the 12th of June and as it will be one of my more expensive stops I shall treat myself to a nice meal.
