During that magical, sunny and balmy afternoon of Monday 12th April we passed along the 4km flood-prone salt marsh section of the National Trail. Our 6th and final day of a superb walk.
The trail was dry. The tide was f a r out.
But we did read useful notices explaining that if the high tide exceeded 9.0m the trail would briefly flood. So these are some dates and local times when this might happen during "walking hours":(no info for July+>)
April 30th, at 14:40 BST (9.1m tide)
May.. apparently none.
June 14/15th at 14:40 / 15:45 BST (9.0m tide)
Keep dry!
