I remember listening to a podcast of a chap walking across America wearing a kilt. He still go sore so he tried going commando with the kilt, to no avail.

He ended up 'carrying' his sore bits so they didn't rub while he walked!

Ouch!

Someone once asked a local what the difference was between a grizzly bear and a brown bear. He was told that if one chased him the best way of escape was to climb a tree. If the bear came up the tree after him it was a black bear. If it sat at the bottom and waited it was a grizzly bear!

If it was a white bear, there won't be any trees. Hide behind the nearest large glacier mint. And don't talk to any foxes.

it brings to mind an incindent when we were on the L.W.W. years ago.
any would be dergers, were warned that ern would have their trousers down before the they completed the walk.
I use to carry the first aid box.
anyway one fellow got half way and leg and thigh musles were
becoming stiff, so out with Liquid Radium B.
but no he would not drop his trousers.
well you cannot give the thighs a good massage with the trouser rolled up, any way further on he was in a bad way, so he made no bones about dropping his trousers, and after having his thighs massage he rubbed his hand up and down his thighs and said "my that is just great" only thing was he did not stop at his thighs
and his poor testicals were as red as a tomatoe before long and we had no water to cool them,
