Can any give me advice on which is the best make? I'm thinking of taking it so to reduce weight. Any suggestions will be gratefully received.

Try these: http://www.outdoorsgrub.co.uk/shop/

Its pretty good but rather expensive.Freeze-dried food has come a long way since the revolting Raven meals of the early eighties.I usually carry a couple of FD meals in case I can't find a shop or cafe for fresh food.
