North Face Hedgehog shoes again, but undecided whether to go with my size 46 worn last time, which allows for two pair of socks or my size 45 which will only allow for one pair, or possibly two thinner ones.
Got a new waterproof camera, Olympus 14mp, with a spare battery, giving loads of shots on a 4g card or 1.5 hours of video, so hope to take a few moving shots and put it all on my Blogger (assuming I get across, of course).
Osprey sac ......2.3lbs.
Tent & pegs.......1.68lbs
1 litre water.....2.1lbs
Everything else comes in at 10lbs.
2 pair thin socks
2 thin thermal top
guidebook/map & case/compass
cereal bars etc
small 1st aid kit
Emergency food (pkt choc digestives)
Don't really see what I can cut out, apart from maybe Cap OR Buff, NO emergency food, LESS Cereal bars, NO tracksters, NO maps.
Leaving all that would only save one pound at best, so looks like I'm stuck with 18lb, but that is for absolutely everything so not too bad I guess.
