I'm responsible for a few peeks at your blog - I read it before we went in September and just had another look as you mentioned Loft Beck. I wanted to see what the views were like as sadly we saw nothing at all the day we were there, being the worst weather of our trip! Closely followed by Nine Standards, and Kidsty Pike was left out altogether because of the wind but that's another story! Now, how to see them all... oh may just have to do the walk again, though knowing our luck the bad weather would be on the same days!
With regards to your feet, I was diagnosed by my GP back in January with plantar fasciitis (without him even looking at my feet!)and it went after doing exercises, best one rolling foot over bottle (of wine, empty!)It unfortunately came back 2 weeks before we did the Coast to Coast and this time I went straight to a podiatrist worrying that I'd have problems on the walk. He said he didn't think I'd ever had plantar fasciitis and had got collapsed foot arches. Luckily wearing my leather boots every day with a light support seemed to work and I didn't suffer, but definitely get it sorted now, I was very worried that I'd struggle because of the wrong diagnosis.
