Thanks Slogger. The Camping fee for the Blue Bell Inn is £5 including shower, not too bad, fairly either. The Blue Bell Inn was once very a few years ago around the £2 mark and crept up.
It was about right then. I could have sworn the lads who were staying to camp there last September, said it was free camping to patrons, obviously not.
Dave.
Not no nowadays, might of been pre-2005 and then again, in 2005, it was £2. Still it not too bad with the shower included. I guess that the Coast to Coast being so popular nowadays, prices have soared. I remember I camped at the Blacksmith Arm's, Swainby about a mile, east along the A174. I was walking my 2nd Coast to Coast Walk (1991) and the price for a small tent was £1, I guess, the Blue Bell might of been less than, as I remember the field was a bit of a rough and tumble affair, the same go's the White Swan, Danby White. The Coast to Coaster's don't know their are born nowaday's. Ahh, happy day's.
