Can anybody tell me if they've ever camped at the Palmer Flatt at Aysgarth? We're in the process of buying it, (it's closed now) and need evidence that there's been camping there in the past. Can you help?

I've personally not stayed there, but I would have done if it was open when I did the Herriot Way. Instead I had to pay £60 for a B&B.

If you are in the process of updating it and re-naming it the Aysgarth Falls Hotel, then good luck in your venture. ;-)

Thanks BrashersBoots, yes we are refurbishing it, (and renaming it the Aysgarth Falls Hotel) as it was in a terrible state.
Hopefully we will be open for the beginning of May. Accommodation is quite expensive in Aysgarth it seems... hopefully it's quite good at least?
