Hi Dave, sorry i have never used twitter, there is a group on facebook called "sports relief c2c" which will be updated 3-4 times a day if thats any help.
Getting a bit eager and excited to get started now, only 1 week to go until i become a coast to coaster.

I am feeling withdrawal symptoms badly now. I need to get something done but still unsure which or when. I'll probably just be fairly spontaneous as usual and decide to go last minute (depending on work) but I doubt it will be this month for a multi dayer. I will check out facebook, cheers.
Dave.

GOOD LUCK STUART.

Once you have done it once, and the blisters have gone and the memory of the pain dissipates, you will want to do it again.

Hope the bloke upstairs keeps the bad stuff to himself till you get done.

My feet appear to have heard about this next attempt and are rebelling as we speak.............I may have to leave them at home and do the walk on my knees.

Well Stuarat and his pal should be on day 3 of their 5 day attempt now.
Ive been on his Facebook page, but can't find anything.
At least the weather has improved.
Dave.

By my reckoning Stu and his team should be on their final half day stretch in from the Glaisdale area this morning (Thursday 22nd).Looks like they've had a pretty good weather window for a mid-March crossing.

couldn't have been better... the shorter days can make the end of each day quite testing as we well know, esp. on a first crossing with less knowledge of the route

Hope I'm not jumping the gun so to speak, or spoiling any forthcoming report, but I'd just like to say well done to Stuart.
He and his pal finished their C2C just 2hrs 40 mins outside of the 5 days.
Found him on his Facebook Wall, some nice photo's of blister covered feet.
Very well done again.
Dave.
