At first, on Julia's Wainwright's Walk's, I did'nt take to her. But after watching her Railway Walks and the Coast to Coast Walk I & II, I think she is a gem and really pleased she is a fan of A.W.

The Borrowdale to Shap walk on "Heart of the Lakes", holds good memories for me. My 2007 Coast to Coast ended in Kirkby Stephen with a very painful knee cry But the good news is I'm recovered and will be doing the full walk soon.

One would be hard-pressed not to take a shine to her.
Love the hood on her jacket - what a visor she has!
Good to hear about the knee flatlands.
cheers

can't agree on that one! if i were to share a tent with a lovely lady then i would have to have a 'set of pillows ' to rest my weary head on at the end of a long days walking! unfortunately miss bradbury doesn't measure up!

I would'nt mind sharing my tent with the lovely Ms Bradbury, I think she would make a lovely sleeping bag liner whistle

Sadly Andy, I didn't... but I have got some post-it notes. One is stuck on 'telly as we speak... will it be Shap to Kirkby Stephen I wonder? (and to come: mud... er, peat wrestling on Nine Standards? can't wait...)
