A casual acquaintance of my wife's second-cousin-once-removed's aunt's father in law's first wife was in the pub in Reeth whilst on holiday from Australia, and said that he thinks he may have heard a friend of one of the film crew's wife or girlfriend say that she might have to miss a couple of day's filming due to other commitments. But he may have misheard, or got it wrong, or made the whole thing up, or not understood his (or was it her) Yorkshire accent.

At least Ms Bradbury appears to be very popular regardless whether she walked it all or not! Incidently, she did walk........some of it But who cares, just enjoy the series and accept its smoke and mirrors subterfuge! Wonder if she will be on the WHW in September......?

peanutduck Full Member Registered: 22/09/08 Posts: 9	Yes Lizard, it was shown on BBC4 earlier in the year although I have to admit I was a little disappointed by its content when I saw it. I can see what they were trying to do. By filming parts of the walk, the industry enroute and clips of AW it would perhaps appeal to a wider audience but I would have prefered more coverage of the actual route myself.
