Next Sunday there is a bit about the Pennine Way on the programme. Not sure how good it will be but I guess that it will be worth a look.

It wasn't very exciting! Just a piece on a poet who scrounged from one end to the other! Nothing new in that!

I saw Simon Armitage at a pub in Greenhead. There were loads of people all dressed up for the occasion and then me sat there in jeans and t-shirt. I was so tired I dozed off! That was at the end of the Alston - Greenhead section which I thought was a really good day. The tralblazer guide doesn't rate it much but I found the scenery to be varied and actually quite interesting.
