Just noticed that this B&B is no longer listed on the Sherpa Van site under accommodations.

Does this mean they finally listened to the reviews and stopped sending poor unsuspecting walkers there?

Out of 16 B&B's we stayed at on our 2009 C2C, it was the worst.

Or maybe old Mrs. Pool finally realised she was in over her head and packed it in.

Thank goodness for that! Thinking we would have a change from the excellent 'Old Water View' We booked in there last time we did the C2C, mistakenly thinking it was the slate cottage opposite old water view. BIG mistake!!

The Glebe House (of horrors) was not one of the high points of our last C2C. They even had an early curfew. Something what happened a few other times was almost as annoying. Traveling with my wife and brother-in-law we booked one double, and one single room. When the B&B proprietors had a chance to book the single, they moved the brother-in-law in with us, no reduction in rate for any of us, and no permission. Otherwise, our experiences have been great.
