Linten House is in the centre of the village of Grosmont, in the Esk Valley, less than 8 miles from Whitby and in the centre of the North Yorkshire moors. The oldest part of the house was here before the railway arrived and the village developed. Close to B.R. and N.Y.M. steam railway stations, opposite Station Tavern (meals available). Shop and P.O. 100yds (for sandwiches etc, open daily). The Coast to Coast path passes our door. An ideal spot from which to commence the last day of the C2C!

Linten House

We have one double room and one family room (D.B. + S.B.). A cot is available for use in either room. Tea and coffee making facilities in breakfast room, which is available to guests at all times. We began catering for ramblers and cyclists in 1975 and offer 10% discount to R.A., C.T.C. and V.T.T.A. members. We also keep a small range of spares for cycling emergencies!
