The tariff is �30 pp pn, (�40 pp, pn for single occupancy), which includes a choice of breakfast, which you can eat either in the Art Deco dining room or in the courtyard. You will be extended a relaxed, warm and friendly welcome by Ron and Heather Dakin and their two friendly Cairn Terriers, Tinks and Archie.

Stenkrith House boasts an attractive, private and comfortable residents TV lounge with views overlooking the mature garden. The lounge is furnished in keeping with the age of the property including an original fireplace from the mid 19th Century. The garden leads down to one of the River Edens many waterfalls, and is a spacious comfortable place to rest and relax amongst the mature shrubs and plants. Anyone who has visited the Kirkby Stephens Garden Trail will know Stenkrith House because this is where the cream teas are served around the end of July every year, as a garden trail fundraiser. On pleasant days guests are invited to take breakfast in the private courtyard as an alternative to the dining room, which is furnished with original Art Deco furniture and sympathetically decorated in keeping with the period. Guest en-suite bedrooms have been attractively re-furbished and reflect the owners bed headboard designing talents. Each room is individually designed and colour coordinated and planned to provide maximum comfort for our guests. For tired feet we provide foot spas and each bedroom has its own tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and complimentary soap and shampoo.
