Does anyone have any info on camping on the C2C!

Any thoughts on walking it alone? So far not managed to rope anyone into coming with me lol. Looking at doing it maybe in June!

Thanks in advance!

I did the route E-W last year alone - best way to go! I used a basic bivvy bag, but weather was rough so used a bunkhouse and B&B as well. TonyK is your camping man - he has listed some good wild spots in the past - try Google search
'C2c Sherpa TonyK'
then click on 'repeat search with omitted results included'
- you might like to add camping as my suggestion comes up with 65 pages!
good luck mate!

don't use a tent go and use the bunk house/camping barns/yha they are littered all across the c2c,camping barns = less to carry making it more enjoyable have fun.

If you are carrying a tent you will always be able to find somewhere to doss down for the night.I wouldn't worry too much about the site, just throw caution to the wind and get on with it!

The list of campsites is very useful. Any recommendations though - i.e ones worth using and ones to avoid like the plague? I'm starting at the back end of June and I'm hoping the sites won't be too busy since I haven't booked anything, although I did wonder about wild camping too.
Thanks
Steve
