Hi there !
fit 44 yr old looking for female companion to do the coast to coast walk, will include planning and prep which of course is all part of the fun ! any time of the year is good for me,if you'd like to join me give me a call ! look forward to hearing from you.

Sam, LL merely put into words what every other person who read the post thought. Why else would the poster ask for a female companion? Why not.. 44 yr old looking for walking companion? This is a perfectly innocent request. The addition of two words, namely "fit" and "female", turn this into anything but an innocent request in my view - and I would guess in the view of the majority who read it. Just my two pennorth. Lone:This chap may or may not be a lust crazed fell stalker. If he is though, it was not apparent in his post. He says that he is fit and he would like female company for a walk. What is so bad about that? So, he might hope that he meets a lady with mutual walking interests and maybe, maybe not - they hit it off. Really, what is so sinister about that?? Surely any slightly interested party would vet him first and the other way, before deciding to venture out on a country yomp. I really can't see the problem - other than the general malaise of society, where nearly everything has become suspect. IP: Logged |

After walking round about twenty miles over lakes and dales,the only physical activity you'll have strength for on the night time is raising one's arm with a pint of beer in the hand.

Hey guys/girls !firstly thanks for the replies that saw my message for exactly what it was ! and its good to see that sam being a woman saw that ! not being a regular user of the site i was a little suprised to find some users taking a different slant on what i said which of course your all entitled too ! however....just to put the record straight i was purely asking for a female companion to walk with of a similar outlook as myself and as has been viewed if something comes of it then so be it, if i wanted to seek a female for some other purpose then i think theres lots more sites to visit than a walking site ! Anyway thats me said my piece so have a good day.....and chill a little ! IP: Logged |

I would have thought that anyone with the decency to carefully read my posts would realise that my sole intention was to assist Jack in his quest for a suitable companion, although apparently this has sadly been to no avail as whatever possible companions I know are evidently not suitable for him. I am sadened by the comments of Sam Peps who, perhaps indicative of the "general malaise of society where everyrhing has become suspect", debases the discussion by, inexcusably as far as I am concerned, casting doubt on my motives and suggesting that Jack "may or may not be a lust crazed fell stalker". "Fit" Jack has hardly been inundated with responses from prospective "female" companions so, as all publicity is said to be good publicity, hopefully all the extra posts on this thread might help him in his quest, whether just for for walking by day or or "nightly conjugals" too.
